Rubie Nell Sanders is Probate Judge for Montgomery County


Rubie Nell Sanders - Probate Judge for Montgomery CountyJudge Sanders was born in Montgomery County Georgia and has lived in the county all her life. Her parents were Homer and Rubie Lee Moxley. They were also from Montgomery County. She attended school in Montgomery County, and graduated from Montgomery County High School in 1962. In 1963 she married Clarance Sanders. They have one daughter, Leigh Ann Helms. Leigh Ann is married to Rodney Helms. Clarance and Rubie Nell have two grandchildren, Adrianna and Hunter Helms.

On January 2, 1980 Rubie Nell began working with the then probate Judge Gary Braddy. She served as Judge Braddy's clerk for 20 years until his retirement in 2000. Rubie Nell was elected Probate Judge in 2000 upon Judge Braddy's retirement and took office on January 1, 2001.
